Shatili
Travel tours to the monuments of Khevsureti include an excursion to the village of Shatili, located in Khevsureti, in the northern part of eastern Georgia, in the high mountains. It was inhabited from the early Middle Ages to the 1970s. Shatili was both a village and a fortress. The special beauty it has preserved to this day. Shatili is included in the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
