Omalo
Omalo is a village in the northern part of Eastern Georgia, which is located between the mountains in the south of the Great Caucasus Range. It is the actual center of the highlands of Tusheti. A road leads from Tbilisi through Akhmet. The distance from Tbilisi to the village of Omalo is 210 kilometers. Its height above sea level is more than 1880 meters. Considering its special natural conditions, the village is an immovable cultural monument of national importance.
The group must be at least four people, and in some cases at least six people. In summer, tours start early in the morning after breakfast and end in the evening with dinner.
Breakfast time is from 7:00 to 19:45.
In spring and autumn from 8:30 to 21:15, in winter from 8:45 to 21:30.
For lunch, a group of travelers will stop at one of the city’s cafes or along the way;
Lunch will be pre-ordered at a restaurant in town, on the road or with the family, and dinner will be where the group members stay overnight.
During the excursion, a group of travelers will travel around the city in all types of transport, what will depend on the specific situation at a particular time, and out-of-town tours will be carried out by special transport.
