First guests were people of art and cinematography field. They were from Freiburg, from Boni and from other cities of Germany. This group arrived in Georgia on October in 1989 and lived in their colleague families, who were working in different fields of culture. In particular, they were professionals in architecture designing, cinematography and painting.

German guests visited Georgian mountains – Kazbegi, Shatili; Sea shore – Batumi; Spaleological sites – Vardsia, Uflistsikhe, Davidgareja; Historical and Georgian ancient architectural remarkable places – Jvari, Svetitskhoveli, Nekresi, etc. They took part in vintage in Kakheti, tasted old and new white and black wine, which were made in a clay pottery in a special vessel.
